LUMMI LUMMI MUSIC FESTIVAL
For friends, by Friends, for Five years
In 2015, Inspired by Doe Bay Music Festival on Orcas Island, I hosted my own music festival. Named after the chant "Doe Bay, Doe Bay", the event took place in October at family's cabin on Lummi Island, WA. The event featured18 of my most talented friends, wristbands, and a poster.
In five years of iterating, I have learned a lot about how to bring together a team and create something everyone can be apart of.

Building a space to come together and cook
Spurred by the success of Lummi Lummi, we set out to plan a larger festival, further from creature comforts (such as shelter, and running water).
After meeting the basic needs in year 1 and 2, I set off to improve community interaction (and reduce waste) by building a Community Kitchen.
